Port Bonaire offers the double cab pick up truck that is included in your package standard with full insurance. If you prefer the package without full insurance or without CDW insurance as well, please let us know at the time you are making your reservation. For information: info@portbonaire.com

You are free to decline any insurance package. In that case however, should there be damage to your rental car, you will have to pay the full damage amount to us before leaving the island. If your credit card or car insurance covers rental cars, then you can claim this amount from them upon your return.

Please be aware that credit card insurances do not cover trucks! Unless you have some kind of premium card or special insurance package, pick up trucks don't fall within the general insurance policies. This exception is specifically stated in the conditions. Please check to make sure that you are covered if you decline our insurance!

As of this season, we offer an additional insurance package which we call Full Insurance.

For an additional $8 per day plus CDW we offer coverage for all damages, including those resulting from burglary or vandalism. Also, with this insurance your general deductible is just $169 instead of $572, and for theft damage your deductible will even be reduced to 0! See our Insurance Matrix for details on coverage.

Our cars are insured for liability only. That means that damage to third parties is covered, with a deductible. A police report must be drawn up in all cases of damage.
